Born in Portland Oregon, I attended Washington State University and graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Following my undergraduate studies, I went on to receive a Masters of Urban Studies from Portland State.
My first career was actually a small ski shop, very dependent on the weather! This enterprise did not last long and so I shifted gears and began working in the securities industry. Beginning as an assistant, I soon moved up to working as an associate stock broker for E. F. Hutton.
I married Tom Wiley in 1982 and we moved to Essex, Connecticut. There I continued my career in the securities industry. Our son Matt was born in 1987.
After 8 years in Essex and Old Lyme, Tom, Matt and I moved to Ilkley, W. Yorkshire England for 4 years. Our family enjoyed traveling and exploring all of the British Isles and Europe. During this time we also made trips China, Egypt, and Dubai.
After 4 years in Yorkshire our family moved to Atlanta and I began work in the real estate industry. We finally returned home to the Pacific Northwest in 1997, choosing Gig Harbor as our home, in large part due to the community’s small town atmosphere. Gig Harbor’s proximity to Sea-Tac International Airport and the amenities that nearby Seattle and Tacoma had to offer was also a big draw.
It is here in the Gig Harbor area that my career in real estate has really accelerated. In my real estate practice I specialize in waterfront and view properties. My goal is to help clients locate the best possible home available, and to provide total support for my sellers during the selling process. I should know what it takes, having owned and lived in 13 homes in 24 years!
