Shahri Masters

Shahri Masters is attracted to intensity. Everything she does bears that signature. Her home is not the earth tones commonly found at Lake Tahoe - Shahri’s house is like the Caribbean, bright yellow, fuchsia, purple, teal and lime green.

Shahri has been at Lake Tahoe since 1968. While many of her contemporaries have moved off the mountain, she stays for the intensity of the winter storms, the absolute blue of the lake and the changing of the seasons.

It was the intensity, which drew Shahri Masters to Intero. After nineteen years with one broker, Shahri knew it was time for a change. That change came in the form of the innovative thinking, youthful enthusiasm and visionary ideals that is the backbone of Intero. Shahri enjoys the camaraderie and the support Intero provides and she lends her support back to the office in the form of sharing her ideas and mentoring newer agents.

Shahri also brings her construction background and close to thirty years of experience with the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency to Intero. Working with TRPA demands more than intensity, it demands patience and the ability to work through problems. Her construction background gives Shahri the ability to see potential in a home that others may have missed.

Shahri has built her business by building relationships. She truly cares about people. She learns about them and their needs, she becomes a part of their lives. Shahri negotiates hard for her clients because they are important to her. She treats all of them the way she treats a best friend and for many of her clients that is exactly what they become. Shahri puts in a lot of hours making sure that she does everything she can to serve her clients. She even has a client care specialist, Sandy Lane , because Shahri is intense about client care.

Invited by Adams Media to write two real estate books, The Everything Homeselling Book 2nd Edition and The Everything Guide to Being a Real Estate Agent, Shahri enjoys writing and she finds it makes her a better real estate agent. She pours her intensity into writing as well. Currently working on a third book, Shahri plans to have it ready for press soon.

Shahri enjoys the intense adventure of extreme travel, no itinerary, no reservations, just carry on luggage and a passport. She travels with her husband and daughter as well as traveling alone. Shahri becomes a local when she travels, frequenting the coffee houses and parks, riding public transportation and eating in places that have a menu she can’t read. She enjoys blending in. The ultimate compliment when she is abroad? If someone asks her “do you speak English?”

Shahri’s intensity will guide you through the maze of buying, selling, investing or building in the complex and changing market of Incline Village. Her focus on all the options, seeing the extremes as well as the center, helps bring clarity and the correct decision no matter what your personal aims are.
